Alrighty, so...a new month, a new entry. At least the advantage of not having written on here for so long is that my friends won’t all know my life before I get to tell them.
Am meant to be currently writing an essay that was due last Monday, unfortunately due to my life, or rather the way I manage my life, it is still not completed. I have given myself the task of finishing it tonight however, so it is nice to see at the halfway mark at 1am I have reapplied myself to the blog. The partial incentive is that the boy I am seeing has started his own blog and has in fact written many more entries than me of late so I thought I would get the edge back by writing more words. Loyal readers will remember that I have forbidden him to read this, but I am not sure if I am testing the boundaries by both linking to him and also commenting on his blog.
Anyhoo, * I probably shouldn’t be writing anything at the moment as am in postcolonial mode as, as was pointed out yesterday by a friend, it seems to be a precondition of postcolonial theorists to be wanky, so all I have been reading are mega, mega, sentences with lots of brackets and so forth. Not exactly aiding my own writing style.
As my essay is on History, (yes that is a capital H) I will leave you with this quote:

"the will of history replaces the hand of God, and revolution serves as the final judgement."
(Richard Pipes)
