Had nasty moment in class today. It was in probably my favorite subject, Modern Political Thought. Anyway, apparently Louis Althusser murdered his wife by strangling her and then was committed to mental asylum. I remember really digging Althusser last semester in my cultural studies subject, and he was also wheeled out again recently in my Po-Colo essay reading.
