The world is a scary place. I just finished watching 'Abstinence comes to Albuquerque' (here) while in our very own backyard government funded anti-choice ideologues are trying to deceive women by posing as impartial abortion counsellors. Get Up is running a petition to alert federal senators to this problem and also has information about how to submit to the senate inquiry.
At least this problem isn't as big as in America where 'pregnancy crisis clinics' posing as actual abortion clinics are set up near abortion providers and pregnant women are lured inside thinking they will receive medical treatment but instead are offered nothing but anti-choice propaganda. (via)
In other news "Gays 'have no right' to marry" and all is merry and fun.
